Dr. Matt Michelson is an AI-scientist and a serial entrepreneur. In addition to his role at Wavemaker 360, he is also the CEO of ReadoutAI, a company that automates workflows for clinical trial data.

He previously co-founded and was CEO of Evid Science, an AI literature analysis company and Wavemaker 360 portfolio company. Evid Science was acquired by Genesis Research, a Real World Evidence technology and services company, where he served as a President. Genesis Research was subsequently acquired. He has published nearly 40 peer-reviewed papers in AI and machine learning, many at the intersection of AI and healthcare. He received his BS from The Johns Hopkins University and his PhD from the University of Southern California, all in computer science.
